Prayer Focus
Continue to bring every single person touched by this horrendous tragedy and its ripple effect. Ask Him to personally touch every hostage in captivity and their loved ones with His peace, comfort and fortitude. Pray for their physical, emotional and mental welfare. Finally, cry out to the Lord for a homecoming for every hostage and for every captive to be released.

He brought them out of darkness and the shadow of death, and broke their chains in pieces.

Prayer Focus
Pray for a light to shine on this horrendous abuse of everything that humanity holds as right and proper. Ask the Lord to open the eyes of the nations and to raise an outcry against Hamas’s exploitation and manipulation of its own people for the benefit of propaganda. Pray that He will give believers around the world discernment to avoid falling into the trap of Hamas’s victim narrative while maligning Israel.

Prayer Focus
Cry out to the Lord to silence the voices baying for Jewish blood. Pray against the incitement to violence, and that the calls to rise up will come to nothing. Pray that peace will supernaturally reign in Judea and Samaria, allowing the IDF to focus its attention on the southern border with Gaza.

Give ear to my prayer, O God, and do not hide Yourself from my supplication. Attend to me, and hear me…because of the voice of the enemy, because of the oppression of the wicked; for they bring down trouble upon me, and in wrath they hate me.

Prayer Focus
Lay the borders of Israel before the Lord and pray for His hedge of protection in the north, east, south and west. Pray for the men and women who guard these borders, that God will make them bold and courageous, regardless of the enemy’s plans, threats and upgraded arsenal.

Prayer Focus
Ask the Lord to unmask the slogan, “From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free,” for the hateful call to genocide that it is. Pray that the heart and the motive behind this so-called freedom cry will be exposed, understood and condemned for what it is: a desire to eradicate the land of Israel and the Jewish people.

Prayer Focus
Bless the Lord for the blessing of Yehonatan Yitzchak Samo’s life, even to the last. Pray for God’s comforting presence to envelope his loved ones as they mourn his death, and that they will also draw comfort from the life and blessing that he leaves behind as a legacy. Pray for every person who has been afforded a new chance at life thanks to Yehonatan’s final act of kindness.

Prayer Focus
Pray against the deception and lies that Hamas continues feeding the media and the nations consume as truth. Ask the Lord to raise up authoritative voices to speak loudly against the false claims so that truth will resound far and wide, voices that will not cower before public opinion, but choose to go against the mob to proclaim what is right, even if they are shunned and dismissed.

Prayer Focus
Sing praises to the Lord for imbuing the nation of Israel with the initiative and creativity to produce such an ingenious defense mechanism to protect its people from dangers on every side. At the same time, pray that the people of Israel will never look to the work of their own hands or minds as their source of hope and defense, but rather to the Rock of Israel.

For I will not trust in my bow, nor shall my sword save me. But You have saved us from our enemies, and have put to shame those who hated us. In God we boast all day long, and praise Your name forever.
