Hamas Turns Street Signs Into Kassams

“Their efforts to replenish their stocks of weapons have never stopped,” said an IDF officer monitoring Hamas and other groups. “Not only that, but they are continuing to operate their smuggling rings during this period to bring in weapons and other material.”

The IDF has repeatedly targeted workshops where Kassam rockets and mortars were said to have been manufactured. These sites are quickly repaired and often come under subsequent air strikes as Israel attempts to destroy the clandestine arms industry.
