Iran Is Operating in Gaza

June 4, 2012

“Gaza equals Iran.
Where do the missiles come from? From Iran.
Where does the money come from? From Iran.
Who trains the terrorists? Iran.
Who builds the infrastructure? Iran.
I have said this many times: who gives the orders? Iran.
Gaza is a forward operating base for Iran.

“I heard some people say that a third or fourth rate terrorist organization is acting against a million citizens in the State of Israel. That is not true. Iran is operating against us. I hope that if not all, at least most members here and the public understand that the terrorist organizations in Gaza—Hamas and Jihad, as well as Hizbullah in Lebanon—are taking shelter under an Iranian umbrella.

“Now imagine what will happen if that umbrella becomes nuclear…Are you ready for this? I am not ready for this! And any responsible leader understands that we cannot let this happen…A prime minister of Israel cannot entrust the ability to act against this threat to others…Our enemies must know that, at the end of the day, Israel will not accept an Iranian base in Gaza. Sooner or later, Iran's terror base in Gaza will be uprooted.”
—Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, addressing a Knesset (Parliament) plenum

Really?!
Hamas “will not do Iran's bidding in any war with Israel and will not launch rockets at Israel at Tehran's request. If there is a war between two powers, Hamas will not be part of such a war…Hamas is not part of military alliances in the region….Hamas has never given complete loyalty to Tehran.”
   — Salah Bardawil, Senior Politburo member in Gaza Strip

31 Years Ago—Begin to US Ambassador

Menachem Begin visits the US in 1981 “On June 7, we destroyed Iraq’s nuclear reactor near Baghdad…You announced that you were punishing us [by imposing a military embargo and cancelling military procurement in Israel]…Not long afterwards—after a slaughter was committed against our people…we bombed the PLO headquarters in Beirut…You suspended delivery of F-15 planes. A week ago, the Knesset [Parliament] passed the Golan Heights Law. Once again, you declared that you are punishing Israel…

“Are we a vassal state of yours? Are we a banana republic? You have announced that you are suspending consultations on the implementation of the memorandum of understanding on strategic cooperation…The people of Israel have lived 3,700 years without a memorandum of understanding with America, and it will continue to live for another 3,700 years…”

—Israel Prime Minister Begin to the US Ambassador, December 20, 1981, as quoted in The Ettinger Report

Who’s Disillusioned?

Marwan Barghouti
www.wikipedia.org/B.Dalim
“Stop marketing the illusion that there is a possibility of ending the occupation and achieving a state through negotiations after this vision has failed miserably.”

—Marwan Barghouti (popular Palestinian leader currently imprisoned in Israel) in a letter from his jail cell to Palestinians

“I believed and I still believe that the only solution to the Palestinian matter is a revolutionary struggle…For 20 years, we have tried to hold negotiations, and during that entire period, Israel has expanded the settlements and taken our lands. We gave Israel a historical opportunity with the Oslo Accords, and Israel still controls the land, the water and the air in our territory…We need to put together a revolutionary new leadership for the Palestinian people, leadership that will carry out armed operations against Israel everywhere around the globe…I support the struggle carried out by Islamic Jihad recently [the firing of rockets on the south], but it needs to increase the [rocket] fire. They need to attack Israel in every way they can.”
—Ahmad Hamamra, a former senior operative in the al-Aqsa Brigades, deported to Spain in 2002

The Bible According to the PA

www.israelimages.com/Tsur Pelly “May my right arm forget me, may my left arm forget me.
May the light of my eyes and the openings of songs forget me, if I forget Jerusalem.
May the joy in my eyes and the green world, forget me.
May every heart forget me.
May the smile of an infant forget me, if I forget Jerusalem.

May my joys forget me, may my morning forget me.
May the suns forget me and may people deny me,
[with] the stars, the moon, the rain and the trees.
May the streets and the houses forget me.
May I wilt, may I wilt and die if I forget Jerusalem…”

—Words of a music video produced and broadcast by Palestinian Authority (PA), mimicking Psalm 137:5 (about Jerusalem, which is never mentioned in the Koran), translated by the Palestinian Media Watch

“We must make clear to the world that David in the Hebrew Bible is not connected to David in the Koran, Solomon in the Hebrew Bible is not connected to Solomon in the Koran, and neither is Saul or Joshua son of Nun [of the Bible].
We have a great leader, Saul,
[in the Koran] who defeated the nation of giants and killed Goliath. This is a great Muslim victory.

“The Muslims of the Children of Israel went out of Egypt under the leadership of Moses, and unfortunately, many researchers deny the Exodus of those oppressed people who were liberated by a great leader, like Moses the Muslim, the believing leader, the great Muslim, who was succeeded by Saul, the leader of these Muslims in liberating Palestine. This was the first Palestinian liberation through armed struggle to liberate Palestine from the nation of giants led by Goliath. This is our logic and this is our culture.”

—Dr. Omar Ja'ara, lecturer at Al-Najah University in Nablus and specialist in Israeli affairs, on a PA TV religion program, in February prior to Passover, translated by the Palestinian Media Watch
