In a speech given in honor of the last day of Ramadan and “al-Quds day” [“Jerusalem” day, expressing solidarity with the Palestinian people and opposing Zionism as well as Israeli control of Jerusalem], Nasrallah stressed that “normalization with Israel is forbidden according to the sage ones [of Shiite tradition]. Palestine, from river to sea, is the property of the Palestinian nation. The Zionists have no right to the land and no one—Arab, Palestinian, Muslim or Christian—has any right to give away one inch of Palestinian land. The Israeli entity is aggressive, cancerous and illegal. No one is allowed to recognize its existence or pursue normalization with it.”
The Hizbullah leader pointed out that his support of Palestinian groups correlates with his criticism of the moderate Arab forces, especially Egypt, calling on all to “support the Palestinian people and the Palestinian resistance—lift the siege they are under. You don’t have to supply them with arms, but let them smuggle them. If you don’t want to aid the Palestinian, Iran will, but don’t give Israel information on the Palestinian tunnels, or on their leaders' whereabouts. Either support the Palestinian people, or let it be.”

The newest audio tape purportedly made by Al-Qaeda leader Osama Bin Laden blames the group’s conflict with the United States on the close ties between Washington and the Jewish state. “The reason for our dispute with you is your support for your ally Israel, occupying our land in Palestine,” Bin Laden was quoted as saying in the tape, released to coincide with the eighth anniversary of the September 11 attacks in the United States. Al-Qaeda called on Americans to “liberate themselves from fear and the ideological terrorism of neo-conservatives and the Israeli lobby.”

In an effort to incite rage against Israel, the Islamic Movement made the following statements after police decided to limit the number of Muslim worshippers to the Temple Mount during the Feast of Tabernacles in October:
—“Harming al-Aqsa will blow up in the face of the Zionist aggression.”
— “Should the State of Israel make us choose [between renouncing the al-Aqsa Mosque and becoming martyrs]…we will clearly choose to be martyrs. We are a nation that does not give up. We will die and win. The al-Aqsa Mosque is not a matter that can be given up on, and we shall win, God willing.”
—“David Ben-Gurion said the State was worthless without Jerusalem. It is important that people realize that this is a religious conflict. This is not about politics—this is our religion, our faith, so it is only natural that we pray here. The government and police won’t stop us from doing so.”
