{image_1} “I think this is more [of a] political slogan than a real political decision to destroy Israel. I don’t think their political leadership is so stupid as to think they can do this [destroy Israel]. Iran wants to lead an international movement against the American presence in the region. They want to be one of the leaders, or maybe the most important leader, in the Muslim world. They need some strong political slogans. One of them [relates] to Israel.”

Founder of modern political Zionism
“Were I to sum up the Basel Congress [First Zionist Congress in Switzerland in 1897] in a word…it would be this: ‘At Basel, I founded the Jewish State.’ If I said this out loud today, I would be answered by universal laughter. If not in 5 years, certainly in 50, everyone will know it.”

Just weeks before the Bush administration convened its Annapolis conference on the creation of Palestine, one of the PLO [Palestine Liberation Organization]/PA’s [Palestinian Authority’s] most senior spokesman, Saeb Erekat, declared that the “Palestinians” will never recognize Israel as a Jewish state. The words shone light on a central component of the deceptive, and usually hidden, PLO strategy whose end goal has always been the eradication of a sovereign Jewish state from the Muslim Middle East.

“The Muslims and their societies are more advanced and more sublime than the West and its societies…are more perfect in value system and humanity. The fact that there are those who believe that these are Western values—it is a delusion and false, since the Muslims are masters of the world, its leaders and teachers, even if the West rejects this.”

Syria, supported by Iran, has given several warnings to Israel that if a peace is not achieved soon, then they may have no option but to go to war in order to “liberate” the Golan Heights. The war could be fought directly by Syria, by proxy through the Hizbullah, or by a new Syrian terror group using Hizbullah-style tactics.

and I will curse him who curses you.”
Genesis 12:3a
{image_1}Saudi Arabia claims to want to lead a new round of Middle East peace talks, but demands that Israel agree to withdraw from all land it won in the 1967 war (including all of the West Bank [Judea and Samaria] and half of Jerusalem) or face outright war with the Islamic [world].
