Young Students Need School Supplies

The first days of school must be the same the world over—the excitement of a brand-new teacher, empty notebooks waiting to be written in and a pencil box full of newly sharpened pencils with good erasers. In Israel, not all families are able to provide their children with the luxury of new school supplies every September.

Bridges for Peace gives these school starter kits to children whose families are on our Adoption Program and also to the Feed a Child students. Imagine the smiles when they receive these school supplies. Suddenly, they are like all the other kids, eagerly anticipating their first day back at school!

Wouldn’t you like to bring a smile to a young one’s face? By doing this, you will also be helping them to succeed in the coming school year.
