Images across social media of rockets raining down over Tel Aviv are unbelievable. Seven rockets were fired at Jerusalem for the first time in six years, while rioting on the Temple Mount and east Jerusalem continue unabated. In Holon, a bus and vehicle exploded and were set ablaze after a rocket struck directly next to it. Meanwhile in Lod, the aftermath of violent riots and pogroms against synagogues and Jewish stores grips at the heart. In Ashkelon, just as a caretaker was helping her elderly ward rush to the bomb shelter, a rocket blast utterly destroyed their home, killing both women in the attack. This is one of many stories of heartache and loss from across the nation.

Since Monday evening, Israel has suffered constant rockets attacks from Hamas in Gaza, as violent riots in Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria, Lod and Haifa have required additional security forces to be deployed across the country. This level of assault against the State of Israel on all fronts has not been seen since the second Intifada (uprising) in the early 2000s.
 
Communities in southern Israel and along the Gaza border have been unable to leave their bomb shelters and safe rooms since the onslaught began. Mothers and children in these communities are unable to leave for safer cities. Traveling on the roads is not safe as there is no certainty when and where the next explosion will take place.
 
Now is the time to stand with Israel. It is the time for all her friends to support the Jewish people during this time of crisis.
